For small or medium loads use 4 dryer balls. For large loads use 8.

TIP: Before you toss the dryer balls into the dryer with your load of laundry, pick an essential oil and drop anywhere from 4 - 10 drops on each ball. You can pick different complementary scents for each ball, or just scent one ball per load. Stronger scents will last for a few cycles!
