Nellie's Dishwasher Powder. 

Sold by the ounce. Use approximately .5oz (~1 tbsp.) per load (1 lb. is about 32 loads, 2 lbs. is about 64 loads). 

Why powder? Traditional liquid detergents are made primarily of water meaning water is being shipped all across the world. Powders are concentrated so more cleaning power is packed into an ounce.

How to use:

Use the hottest water available (60°C-70°C/140°F-150°F). Fill detergent cups as recommended by machine manufacturer. If machine has no cup dispenser, place 1 tablespoon in bottom of dishwasher for average load of dishes. More powder may be required in hard water areas; soft water may require less.
